Anthony Torriani is Founder, Principal and Managing Director of Monaco Asset Management, an independent wealth management company based in Monaco. Monaco Asset Management has assets under management in excess of 2.5 billion USD.
Previously, Mr. Torriani was Managing Director, and co-founder and co-owner of 21st Century Management SAM, a commodity trading advisor managing proprietary assets for Commodities Corporation, a subsidiary of The Goldman Sachs Group. Prior to that Mr. Torriani worked for a number of years for The Julius Baer Group holding various positions including Head of Research in Geneva and General Manager of Societe de Gestion Julius Baer in Monaco.
Mr. Torriani is a Vice-President of the Association Monegasque des Activites Financiers. In that capacity he oversees the Commission on Asset Management Activities. Mr. Torriani is President of the Finance Commission of the Strategic Committee for Promotion of Monaco, a government advisory Board. Mr Torriani is an active on a number of other Boards of Directors including the The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal Inc., MC Opportunities Fund Ltd., and other private concerns.
Mr. Torriani is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager (Swiss Confederation), a Chartered Financial Planner (Switzerland) and holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Geneva and an Executive MBA (Wealth Management) from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
