Francesco is EMEA Chief Executive Officer for the Private Bank division of Barclays PLC. He is a member of the Private Bank and Overseas Services Management Forum, CEO for the Monaco Branch, Vice Chairman of Barclays Wealth Asset Management Monaco’s Board of Directors and a member of the Board for Barclays Bank (Suisse) SA  and Barclays Wealth Managers France.

Francesco started his career with Barclays in May 2007 as General Manager for Wealth Management in Monaco where he was responsible for the front-to-back business covering financial performance, sales and organisational management. Under his leadership which continues today, Francesco has reengineered the business to position Barclays Monaco as one of the top four Wealth Managers in the region.

In July 2014 Francesco was promoted to Market Head of Barclays Bank (Suisse) SA and then 6 months later to CEO Europe. In January 2016 Francesco became CEO for all of EMEA.

In a career spanning 28 years working with high net worth clients Francesco has also held positions as Head of Private Banking at HSBC Private Bank Monaco and a member of the Executive Committee and Banca della Svizzera Italiana as Senior Private Banker.
